Jewish Thoughts on the Establishment of the Synagogue (Case Study: Joyabareh District in Isfahan)

Abstract

The study of the synagogue is the study of the history of Israel.No period of living is unthinkable without this place of public worship and religious education Soon the synagogue became the main center of Judaism,and it was for its existence that later,after the Jewish fragmentation, life was preserved.The synagogue was the center of any community's activities,just as the Temple of Jerusalem was the center of all people.The synagogue,in fact,was a small sanctuary for the loss of the temple.Therefore,regardless of how the details of the construction of the synagogue may vary from country to country,the synagogue worship was the most significant manifestation of Judaism,whose main purpose was to create unity of Jews,scattered all over the world.The most important purpose of this paper is to introduce the formation of the concept of Judaism in the construction of the synagogue.Given the notion of what the notion of Judaism affects the construction of the synagogue in Isfahan,the author has tried to explore the historical interpretation of the research questions,how the notion of Judaism can affect the architectural architecture of Isfahan.to answer.
In this essay,we first begin with the formation of the Jewish religion,the history of Judaism in Iran,including Isfahan,and the Jewish thought in the construction of the synagogue,and then we will analyze some of the synagogues with a field survey of the Joyabare neighborhood of Isfahan.Recognizing and classifying synagogues in Isfahan can be effective in understanding the synagogue space.With the notion that the Jewish thought can be effective in recognizing the synagogue architecture.
