After choosing the word manzar as the synonym of the English word “landscape”, following up its linguistic roots and exploring its relationship with Persian word negar with regard to the landscape history of Iranian civilization, it was considered by some linguistic and experts in the field of landscape architecture. It seems that similar appearance and meaning of these two words is the main reason of the proximity of them in such a way that some recent linguists have pointed to the moarrab form of this word. Studying the roots of the word negar in old and middle Persian texts, and also in Persian linguistic texts in one hand and the etymology of the word nazar in sami languages on the other hand shows that these two words belong to two different worlds of culture and language, and in this case the word nazar is considered as the most genuine words of sami languages, and in general terms it is more ancient that can be placed in moarrab groups. Two words of manzar and manzareh derived from the root of the word nazar in Arabic language are used frequently in Persian literature, and a research in word resources and Arabic dictionaries reveals that unlike the common opinion of driving the word manzareh form Persian language, this word is also Arabic and what is noticeable is that the beginning of composing poetry in Persian dari , the word manzareh at first and then the word manzar have been used in poems of  Persian poets for expressing meanings.  امروزه واژه نظر و هم‌خانواده های آن مانند نظرگاه، منظر و منظره با بسامد زیاد در زبان فارسی مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرند. پس از انتخاب واژه منظر به عنوان برابر‌نهادِ واژه انگلیسی لنداسکیپ<br /> <span lang="EN"> (</span><br /> <span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Landscape</span><span style="font-family: B Nazanin;">)<span lang="FA">پیگیری ریشه‌های زبان‌شناختی آن و کشف نسبت آن با واژه نِگر فارسی با عنایت به سابقه منظرین تمدن ایرانی، مورد توجه برخی از زبان شناسان و متخصصان رشته معماری منظر قرار گرفت. به نظر می‌رسد شباهت ظاهری و معنایی این دو واژه، اصلی‌ترین دلیل تقریب این دو کلمه است به نحوی که برخی از زبان شناسان متاخر، به مُعَرّب بودن این واژه اشاره کرده‌اند. بررسی ریشه های واژه نِگَر در متون فارسی باستان و میانه و همچنین در متون زبان شناسی فارسی از یک طرف و ریشه یابی کلمه نَظر در خانواده زبان های سامی از دیگر سو نشان می‌دهد این دو واژه به دو دنیای متفاوت زبان- فرهنگ تعلق دارند و در این میان، واژه نَظر از اصیل ترین واژگان زبان‌های سامی است و به طورکلی کهن‌تر از آن است که در گروه معربات جای بگیرد. از دو واژه منظر و منظره از ریشه واژه نَظَر عربی در ادبیات فارسی فراوان استفاده شده است و جستجو در منابع لغت و صرفِ زبان عربی نشان می‌دهد برخلاف تصور نسبتاً رایج که کلمه مَنظَره را از برساخته های فارسی زبانان می‌دانند، این واژه نیز عربی است و قابل توجه آنکه در سرآغاز سرایش شعر به زبان فارسی دری، واژه منظره در ابتدا و سپس منظر در دیوان شعرای پارسی‌گو برای بیان معنایی مورد استفاده قرار گرفته که در معماری و تمدن ایرانی مسبوق به سابقه بوده است. </span></span> http://www.jaco-sj.com/article_38603_0342b0229f71d946655d34a8a30d76db.pdf
