People of the land have gone through a lot but they stood and finally endeavored to restore their rich heritage. Additionally, India was a land that was part of the Achaemenid State and a territory, under the influence of Iran’s culture and art in the Islamic days, with certain geographical characteristics, large population, peculiar rituals and customs, self-sufficient economy, and the most incredible country in the world that has been culturally survived for thousand years and displays ostensibly its glorious culture and eastern art to the world. Issue 6 contains 4 articles drawing on a scientific-explorative journey to India, touching on some urban and social concepts in different parts of India. As for the cities, it addresses community spaces, justice and localization, vehicles, classic and organic views on India’s Islamic tomb building. Voice of Iranian gardens, art and civilization in the ancient land of Iran are incorporated into the free articles of the chapter with a report and analysis on the Central Asia. The investigations reach a conclusion by raising questions and views about culture and art which lay the foundations for future studies and could be condensed as follows; shared beliefs and religions of the ancient East, how they endured and their effect on social customs which appeared in different forms in Iran, India and Central Asia. Journal Article20150914All we can see about Perfect art is form and meaning in proper combination with each other, to create art work ,which has ability to communicate and direct perceived by the audience as well as its influence on the other arts .Iranian garden is perfect art that despite historically been changed ,survival and Indestructible features has proven to everyone .Garden Construction Artist with the design of the Persian Garden and by profit of relationship factors ,such as culture, history ,society ,symbols and signs ,the media and the human senses ,creates the sense of twoway communication with the audience and the immediate perception without the need for interpretation and Persian Garden is explained to the audience .Persian Garden ,in the temporal course of is employing natural and human emotions ,such as the sense of sight ,hearing ,smell ,taste and touch ,but it is not dealt with as they experience physical ,but also spiritual and satisfying feelings. 2345-66122620150220The Lost Parts of Iran Art and Civilization in the Greater Khorasanand Transpotamia – Middle Asiaپاره های گمگشتة ایران هنر و تمدن در خراسان بزرگ و ماوراءالنهر آسیای میانه102110847FAشهره جوادیدکتری تاریخ هنرJournal Article20150914From a long time, large segments of the middle Asia have been accounted for the vast Iranian and the greater Khorasan territories. In this geographical-cultural region, Iranian and Turk ethnics had inhabited with different rituals and beliefs where they have created magnificent civilization and art in the ancient period and the Islamic era, despite much more disastrous events in the course if time crippled by the inhabitants of the territories, their cultures have remained strongly and consistently. Even though the communist domination in the region had caused heavy plights, but it could not make them totally uncultured; so that the peoples, especially elders and adults have retained their beliefs and traditions. On the other hand, after getting independence and freeing from fascism, they have rapidly taken steps to revitalize their cultural-artistic legacies. The cultural stability in these territories implies its rich background which, like other parts of the motherland, has already fed by roots of cultural identity in spite of harsh political, social and economic transformations, and has been steadily able to survive as s segment of the Iranian cultural integrity. This study reviews the most characteristics of the territory’s history of culture. 2345-66122620150220Organic and Classic View in India’s Islamic Tombs Buildingدیدگاه کلاسیک و ارگانیک در مقبره سازی اسلامی هند222910848FAرضا کسرویکارشناسی ارشد معماری منظرJournal Article20150914Arrival of Islam in India through Iran has also added new architectural elements to Indian architecture, including a Persian garden. Architecture of Islamic shrines has two different types of tombs because of the difference in the arrival of Islam in India, either through conquest of Muslim rulers or leaders of Sufism. Muslim ruling class tombs have built in form of gardentombs, symbolizing the classic version of India tomb building inspired by Persian garden making tradition. These tombs have built in forms of memorial elements and separated from the urban texture. On the other hand, tombs of Sufi elders have built consistent with the urban texture and they form the organic kind of India’s Islamic tombs building. Traditions and customs of eager visitors are more significant than formal aspects of architecture. Most notable aspects of this type of architectural monuments are Baolies located next to them. 2345-66122620150220Evolution of the Concept of Justice in the Indian Society and its Spatial Representationتحولات مفهوم عدالت در جامعه هند و نمود فضایی آن304110849FAمحمدصالح شکوهی بیدهندیپژوهشگر دکتری شهرسازیJournal Article20150914The perception of the concept of justice may change over time in every society. This can lead to differences in social systems, and of course, spatial and physical systems of cities. This study focuses on the philosophical and social interpretation of justice in India and deals with changes in the definition of justice in this society in different periods of time. Accordingly, it has been tried to point out how each understanding of justice leads to evolutions in the formation and development of human settlements in India. To this end, this article analyzes five cases (cities of Jaipur, Udaipur, Chandigarh, Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad) over different periods to study the evolution of the idea of justice in India and its spatial and physical representation in human settlement in this society. The findings show that the perception of justice among Indian citizens has changed in three stages from “justice as unequal casts” in the pre-modern era, to “justice as providing minimums for the masses” in the modern era, and recently to “justice as increasing capabilities” in the post-modern era. These three eras can also be outlined in the shaping process of Indian cities. In the first period of time, it was rulers who formed the city.In the second era, the technocrats alongside with rulers designed cities. Finally, in the third period of time, rulers, technocrats and people renovate slums in a participatory way. 2345-66122620150220Footprint of Life in City Investigation on the Meaning of Social Space in Indian Citiesردپای زندگی در شهر مفهوم فضای جمعی در شهرهای هند425110850FAمنا مسعود لواسانیکارشناس ارشد معماری منظرJournal Article20150914Today paying attention to the citizens’ interaction and social lives has created some needs in urban design. So that social spaces have become an important subject in our cities. The survey on the characteristics and factors of forming these spaces constitutes a part of theories of urban studies. Considering landscape architecture as domestic/native knowledge and careers/occupations, it appears that these factors in different territories exactly belong to the same culture and people. This text investigates on social spaces of India to reply this question that “in which principles and factors the meaning of social space, Indian cities are common with the current theories or have differences?” In this research having done by observation and library study, lots of discrepancies have been detected in physical conditions and life flow; differences which have made great gap between Indian social spaces and modern types at the first glance. It seems that the meaning and the forming factors of social space in Indian cities differs from descriptions and identified factors in the theoretical foundations. Thus, the equal factors cannot be recommended for social spaces shaping around the world. For finding the answer of this research, field studies have been done in the variety of type, function and physics from religious spaces to business ones and from old to new textures. These spaces are separated into two categories as Indian organic space (mostly old & religious) and the modern planned parts. In modern texture the properties of social spaces were similar to known efficient factors; but a specific definition for social space in India was searched for other parts. Totally, eighteen social spaces in 8 cities were recognized by field study and observation and their specifications were analyzed. Finally after reviewing principles and minimum factors advised for forming such spaces (Security, continuity with city and pedestrian movement), it was found that Indian social spaces influenced by general level of life in this country are matched with primary type of life style (essential activities) known in the world theories. Therefore, the reason of difference seen at first, is the distance between life and physics of Indian and western modern spaces. 2345-66122620150220Landscape of Motion Localization Process of Mechanized Vehicles in Indian Citiesمنظر حرکت فرایند بومی شدن وسایل نقلیه مکانیزه در شهرهای هند526210851FAسمانه رحمدلکارشناس ارشد معماری منظرJournal Article20150914General view of vehicles as important elements in the perspective of contemporary city, Suggests that these elements are more or less similar facilities in all cities, paying only for their functional role: urban transportation. In most urban communities vehicles are merely objective, without any signs affecting the legibility of the city. Since urban life in India is mixed with primitive native life, localizing any phenomenon by people, the question is whether the native Indian mechanized transportation as one element in urban structure and yet something imported? And if the answer is positive, by which model have reached this important? Reflections on the movement in the Indian cities hypothesize that the pattern vehicle as “auto-rickshaw” could go beyond the framework of functional vehicles; become a landscape place, using its physical characteristics and its interaction with the community. In this paper, by selecting “auto-rickshaw” as a case study, an attempt is made to prove the hypothesis.Research methodology is based on the recitation and interpretation of the urbanscape in today India. Although consistent of auto-rickshaw with the functional requirements of community affected in its adoption by people, its place as landscape element is obtained by compliance with culture of the Hindi business and becoming a work-life place. Entering familiar signs changes the character of rickshaw from an importing vehicle to a place effected by significant signs of Hindi culture, influencing the readability of urbanscape.
